Terms of Enslavement

Below mentioned are the non-negotiable terms of enslavement:

1. You have to slog for me, regardless of whether you will die in the process

2. Your enslavement lasts ? years, and do not expect anything from me in return

3. I can punish you in anyway I deem fit

4. Your rights end the moment you are my slave

5. You shall become penniless under me. Any attempts at changing this fact will land you in my lockup.

6. You are my dog. Do whatever I tell you without questioning me or thinking twice

7. Your working week is 5.5 days, not 5. Any OT will not necessarily equate to more off days

8. To get a slightly better terms, sign a longer contract with me. Your working week is reduced to 5, you will not become broke, you will have power over those who did not sign the contract, and, in order for me to have smarter pets, I will subsidise your education.

All in all, you will feel better off being a construction worker. Just so happens that you do not have the choice.

It's New Year's Eve... Time to publish another blog post lest people say that I keep befriending the trees etc.

With regards to befriending the forest, I doubt it will ever be over. The people up there are certainly so clever and resourceful, so how will it ever end? New things will definitely be implemented along the way, lengthening the process.

The year 2009 wasn't a good one. Certainly hope 2010 is better.

Big shots are always two-faced. In front of the small fries they act compassionate. Behind close doors, they think of every possible way to exploit us in hope of saving the organisation money and thus having bigger bonuses themselves.

Wisdom Tooth Extraction

For the weak-hearted... I think you shouldn't read on... Lol...

Had two of my wisdom tooth extracted yesterday... As the surgery assistant said... The injection of the anesthetic was the worse part of the surgery (Unless you have a good imagination and know what they are doing inside your mouth)

My head and eyes were wrapped up with some cloth... I presume that was to stop me from panicking... Lol... I could actually feel that the were cutting my gum although I couldn't feel any pain at all... @_@... Then they had to drill my wisdom tooth cos they couldn't pull all of it out. After successfully managing to pull out the wisdom tooth, they stitched up the hole left behind... The whole operation is rather OK since I couldn't feel the pain... But I'll have to remove the stitches next Wednesday... And once the anesthetic wore off... the pain was horrible... Even painkillers have no effect on the pain... Lol...

To make the extraction even less worth it... I was only given 5 days MC... WTH... and I thought may have at least 7 days... Lol...

My army life is finally settling down... I have been posted somewhere near home and I will be staying out... Will finally have more time to accomplish my own stuff.

Went out with the Meridian Lifesavers yesterday to celebrate Sabrina's birthday. We went to Fish & Co. at Suntec City. At the end of the meal, she had to endure feeling embarrassed for a few minutes while the staff and us sang her a birthday song... Lol... I certainly wouldn't want this kind of birthday celebrations.

Thereafter we went to the Esplanade's roof-top terrace, where Recruit Esmond called...Lol... I passed the phone around and he had to guess who was on the phone... He couldn't recognise Zhi Wei's voice as I didn't mention that he came too. Haha... End up he called back again just to clarify whose voice that was so as to be able to sleep peacefully...

Don't really know what to post... It's been so long since I blogged... And with a mobile phone that does not have a camera, I hardly have photos to post. Just words and more words.

Will be extracting both my wisdom tooth on the coming Wednesday... Certainly hope I can bear with the pain and still be able to eat... Lol...

Teenagers nowadays can hardly take a seat on the mrt in peace. When you sit there and notice the people coming in, many will stare at us, especially those aunties in their 40s or 50s. Many times, we know that there is no need to give up our seats to them as we can see that they are well able to stand without the need to take a seat. But they'll always stare at us with that kind of look that says that we teenagers should offer our seats to them because they are more senior than us. If this is so, wouldn't we have to give up our seats to anyone since majority of the people are older than us? It's not like I wouldn't give up my seat to anyone who needs it more than me. All those who knows me knows that I am always looking out for those whom I can give up my seat to. But everytime I see this kind of aunties with that look, I would just look at them at then go back to whatever I was doing.

Speaking of aunties, Esmond that day smsed me something he witnessed when he was at Popeye's with his family. He heard a few aunties exclaiming in disgust when they saw uncleared trays on the table. Their first assumption was that those were the doings of teenagers. That's what disgusts me about aunties. Anything happens and they'll go: "Must be the teenagers ah!"

Oh, please... I'm willing to bet more aunties than teenagers don't clear their trays after a meal. And it's definitely not because Singapore is experiencing an ageing population.

All in all, many aunties just disgusts me. They're the ultimate kiasu Singaporeans I described in my previous post. They like to gossip, and mostly about things related to teenagers. I would thus conclude that the existence of aunties is to drive teenagers mad.

And kudos to Esmond for exclaiming loudly after his meal at Popeye's: "A teenager is clearing his tray!" for those aunties to hear

I drafted this blog post on the mrt while I was on the way home from work, and I saw an auntie dash off her seat like about 1 minute before the train reached the station. Can't say that I'm totally wrong about aunties... Lol...

Oh! And did I mention that when getting up buses, aunties like to look at the person right in front of her like that person just deprived her of the pleasure of getting up the bus earlier? Lol...

When aunties decide to take a day off from these antics, they still drive us teenagers mad. We have a saying that goes: "If you can't beat them, join them"

I guess the aunties' saying goes this way:

"If you can't beat them, make them join you" -.-"

I'll explain how it works. Have you ever noticed how an aunty or group of aunties(not senior citizens, just those in their 40s or 50s) like to jam up a whole pathway with their incredible speed?

be the first to arrive at sales (as there is only one item on sale...lol...)

for these Singaporeans, their manners and courtesy must have died with Singa the lion

And there are some adults who needs teenagers like me to tell them that they're childish. Wahaha

This particular adult worked for Acer during the IT show. I would very much like to call him a bastard because of his bloody attitude, but I don't know much about his parentage...so...who knows...

To cut things short, he was looking for trouble. He likes to throw his boxes at our booths, so people end up have to walk closer to his booth. Call it smart sales tactics, or that he's a stupid litterbug looking for trouble...lol...

Obviously, I would throw it back at his area since I want to earn commission. He started shouting at me and was trying to intimidate me. I called our boss over to reasoned with him. Well, the boss turned out to be one stupid pussy. After the whole thing was over he told me to apologise to that idiot. Thought he would stand up for his own salesman and reason properly. Lame... He brought the guy to throw the rubbish... The boss needs balls...lol...

While the boss talked to him, the idiot kept hurling vulgarities at me. He spoke in Hokkien, not expecting me to understand much. In the end, I got so irritated that I also shouted at him. No worries my dear readers, I never used vulgarities...lol...All I did was to tell him to stop being childish and go back to work...lol... The reason for that is because he kept wanting to fight me -.-"

I call him an idiot also because he was threatening me in front of the public. When I asked if he was threatening me, and that there were many witnesses around, he shouted that all the witnesses to come along. Wow... how smart is he? Definitely not smarter than a fifth grader...lol...

He told me he would come find me after work, but he seemed to have disappeared into thin air. I was waiting to make my first triple 9 call already, and he had to disappoint me...zzz...

Lifesaving is different from Red Cross!!!

Are you jinxed? Or been cursed to cause any CCA you’re in charge of to be closed down? I certainly hope you will not be in charge of any other CCA after this, lest they close down and make others angry too. I seriously hope you were just talking big when you said you had learnt lifesaving before as you certainly do not realise the importance of this skill. If you had known, I don’t think the CCA would close down. I would say that you did not do anything to stop the 2 CCAs from closing down. Now there’s not going to be much first aider in the school. Did you try to make the school realise this point? I doubt so…

I was told that there were 3 reasons for which the 5^th Meridian Lifesavers would be the last batch –

1. No achievements

2. Not enough intakes

3. To cut cost

Oh dear, I must have robbed that poor guy of his silver medal last year. Then Esmond must have confounded the time keeper so that he came up within top eight of his event to score points for the school. Talking about achievements, I think certain CCA that hits small balls can’t achieve anything either right?

Not enough intakes? That’s rubbish. ICS can run with so few members that every member held an exco positions.

I would think the problem lies with the school. Cut costs? Not enough intakes? Not like lifesaving costs a lot. Our CCA always had thousands of dollars of excess funds because we hardly use them. I should think the school wants to put more money into their beloved soccer team. Soccer can’t save people. More like the ball can. It floats, thus it can be used as a rescue aid. Hmm… the soccer trophy can be used to kill people… so useful…

So why waste money for impractical stuff such as glory? Is your chest going to grow bigger with the pride that you have no need for lifejackets anymore? You’ll just float in the water right?

Oh! I know! They’re going to hold more tests to stress and demoralize the students, so they need the money to print the papers! -.-“

Come on… like a pink panther once said: “Set your priorities right!”

A life is worth so much more than pride and results. I certainly hope you all know how to save yourself if you don’t want others to save you. May the force be with you all…

Holy Terrors!!!

It's been a long time since I last updated. Hmm. It's Chinese New Year already. Gong Xi Fa Cai everyone. Lol.

CNY is more like the season of gambling now. And all the gambling among the kids are financed by red packets. Lol. It's fun only if you win. Lol.

About 2 weeks before CNY, I went to a primary school to be a relief teacher for a day. Going there just proves that parents nowadays don't know how to teach their kids well. Bunch of ill-mannered holy terrors. Especially the primary 5 kids. What are parents teaching their kids nowadays? Or I guess they never teach their kids manners. If they did teach, I guess they told them that there's no need to listen to teachers, and that their parents are always right. So what if parents nowadays are better-educated as compared to parents from before? Does that mean that whatever they teach their kids are right? I've heard parents teaching their kids math and tell them not to listen to the teacher because the teacher is wrong. Wth. If teachers are teaching the wrong stuff, then why send the kids to school? Might as well teach them yourselves. See if they can score better. Teach the wrong stuff still think that they are right. Haiz. Parents (of kids in primary school) nowadays. Tsk tsk.

Back to the holy-terrors in that certain school. Even before I head into the class, I met this "chubby" kid (I wouldn't say rude kids are chubby. Wonder what they are fed nowadays. Must be fast food. Most turning out so short and fat) who told me : "老师，你参了。我们很坏蛋的" For those who don't understand, he was telling me that I'm going to have a tough time with them because they are very naughty. I would prefer to say that they are very ill-mannered. Hmm. Reflective of what their parents teach them at home. Lol. Turns out that "chubby" boy is the most irritating of them all. I would suggest when you go relief primary school kids, bring along super glue to glue them to their seats. Oh ya, you'll need a brush to apply the glue lest they complain of molest. For the extreme cases, you'll need chain and lock, and also some cloth to tie them down and gag them as they'll get up before the glue dries.

The only enjoyable part of that day was when I went to teach the primary 2 kids. They were so cute. They are very cooperative except for a few. I took them for their last lesson so i got to dismiss them. I love the part when they bade me goodbye. They waved their small hands and said bye bye to me. So cute. Lol.

My enlistment into the army is very confusing thanks to my hairline fracture. I've gotten a PES B, C, D and E till now. Just lacking an A and F, Lol. Going to upgrade back to PES B again after getting advice from my cousin. Lol. I don't want to go so many BMTs. So i guess my enlistment date which is currently in March will be pushed back to April again. Lol. So many postponement.

Went Wild Wild Wet just last Friday with Esmond and Wilson. Boring place. Lol. We went just because we have free tickets. Lol. Hmm. Ended up getting a terrible sunburnt. But at least I don't look so white anymore. Lol.

Still not done with all the CNY visting. Still got a few more red packets to get. Lol. Extra income. So nice. Haha.

Hmm. That's about all. No pictures this time. Lol.

Ubin Trip 3Jan 2009 / Lifesaving Chalet 2009

Went Pulau Ubin again. Alan finally came this time. So it was the four of us - Alan, Esmond, Yi Feng and me. Went to Chek Jawa Wetlands and cycled randomly around Ubin. Had lunch at the top of the viewing tower at Chek Jawa...bread, ham, tuna and Munchy's quickbites.

That's about all for the Ubin Trip. Nothing much.

Then there was the Lifesaving Chalet from the 4th to the 5th of Jan. Initially had 11 of us, excluding the seniors. Then 1 guy last minute had to attend his grandma's birthday dinner. How convenient, especially after he told some of the others that he had no money when he was the only one working regularly. So the remaining of us, including the teacher, sent him and sms to help us wish his grandma a Happy Birthday.

The BBQ-ing of food became Esmond, Justin and my job. We barbequed all the food while the rest were watching TV upstairs. Not complaining though. It was fun to BBQ the food. Lol. Played Twister and Charades at night. Twister was horrible, though it was still kinda fun. Forced to be in awkward positions all the time. Played Charades with the theme movies in mind. Remembered our senior Yan Fang acted something that looked like a worm when she was supposed to let her team guess the movie 'Flubber'...lol...

Ended up playing truth or dare all through the night till morning. It was fun. It became more like a sharing session where there was always so much to talk about.

Well, Lifesaving Chalet was definitely much fun, and I hope we can have it again at the end of the year... and guys, it was a pleasure to organise the chalet... no problem at all =)

Holiday in the Clouds

Hmm... I realise I haven't updated since the 2nd of July. LOL... Haven't got the time to do so...

Now I'm finally updating it, or else people are going to say I forgetful and stuff.

Alright. Let's make reference to the title first... 'Holiday in the Clouds'... That's because I went Genting Highlands from the 14th to the 16th of this month. Boring place... Not fun at all if you went there with ur family and cousins... Had to keep playing kiddy rides with the young ones since we do not want to be separated for fear of not bing able to meet up later... Zzz... I got conned into playing a ride similar to experiencing freefall(see photo below)... Regretted once I was at the top... Lost all senses of the hands and legs when I got off the ride... lol... And I won a big yellow teddy bear for my cousin(again...see photo below)

Well... That's about it for my holiday. Kinda boring... Managed to get carsick on the way down from genting... @_@

The holidays are here, and the A levels were long over. Finally can enjoy life ^_^ My initial date of enlistment was supposed to be on the 9th of January next year, but thanks to my hairline fracture in the left wrist, it got postponed and the date of enlistment has yet to be confirmed.

I seem to remember I wanted to blog on many occasions before this, but I forgot what I wanted to blog about...lol...

Can vaguely remember the phrase ' I am a committe member!!!'. Mentioned by some 'COMMITTE MEMBER' at a particular community centre where I was studying for the A levels. Think they are some big-shots and that they're job is so important. One of them seems to think the whole CC belonged to him. Haiz... Senile old people... There's a polyclinc next door if you need a referral to the hospital to treat ur brain you know...

Got a new mobile phone... a PDA phone to be exact... a MWG Zinc II... kinda cannot find the NavFone GPS software... can't even download it... Zzz... Fun to play with pda phones... lol...

Oh ya... there was prom on the 4th of December... Rather fun occasion... but i still don't have the photos yet!!! Zzz... wonder what's taking that guy so long from emailing it...

I really forgot what else I want to blog about le... Doesn't matter... Happy Holidays everyone!!! (especially the girls...got such a long one before them)

Ubin Trip

So long since I last posted... This blog will mainly be about the Ubin trip where Esmond, Yi Feng and I went together... However, there's also the good news of me and Esmond clinching the silver medal for the Men's Line Throw event at the 21st NUS Invitationals... Lol... Will post the photos related to NUS Invitationals when I get the photos from Ying Zhen...

So, regarding that Ubin trip... Yi Feng initiated it... then Alan ps us... Haiz... Lol... Doesn't matter...

Yi Feng was late in the morning, so we by the time we reach Ubin, it was already 10+am... Each of us rented a bike and set out... Only moments later, Yi Feng's bike broke down... Abt an hour ltr... It was Esmond's bike's turn... Lol... Had to go back twice to change their bikes... Lol... Had lunch at the beach there... Used that time to take some photos for memories sake... Lol...

Another thing... Esmond fell down rather unglamorously towards the end of our trip... Lol... His bike skidded when he tried drifting to a stop... Lol...

And almost forgot this... we found 2 durians along the way... ended up throwing one at the beach because it was rotting already... and without checking the other... we spent more than half an hr trying to open the other one with my pathetic swiss knife... turned out this one wasn't ripe yet... Zzz... and all our cuts and abrasions while opening that stupid durian we named "Esplanade"(LOL) were all for nothing... Haiz...

Anyway... taking part in Nationals Inter-School Swimming Championships tomorrow and on Friday... sure to get owned by the pros there... Haiz... Got cheated into joining this event... Lol...

Don't know when will be my next post... Depends on when Ying Zhen will send me the photos for NUS Invitationals... Nevertheless... Some photos...

Had a CCA outing on 7 June, Thursday...Went Parkway Parade...Played pool then went for dinner at Swensen's...after that, some went to play LAN while the rest went to the arcade...Nothing much...and there are only pictures during dinner...don't know why, but some pictures very dark...

Celebrated 2 of my classmates birthday yesterday right after PE - Sheng Jie's and Sean's... used relighting candles on the cake...and Sheng Jie kept blowing...not realising it was a trick...Made Sean go to the shower room before attacking him with whipped cream...only have last part of this video...damaged the can halfway, so couldn't use it on anyone else after that...We went to eat the cake after that...then went on with the day

Went swim training with Alan and Esmond this morning...After that we roamed around...then realised there is an exhibition about 40years of NS...played around with exhibits(Alan used a gun as though he is using a bazooka...)there is also a physical challenge...thrashed Alan in no. of pull ups...lol... Esmond did the sit ups... met Yi Feng after that(he came v.late -.-") waited for him to have lunch before heading to play basketball with the usual people...

Been too busy to post...JC education is just so hard to cope...so much tutorial, so little sleep...

Well...many things has happened since I last post. NAS NPCC Juliet squad outing at Pulau Ubin... Homecoming and NASlympic at Ngee Ann Sec etc...

My CCA in MJC has been confirmed - Lifesaving and Swimming Team... Hope to excel there...win competitions etc.

Less than 2 years till the end of my JC education...nothing to lose...just have to work hard now and enjoy later...

Finally decided to post again!!!

Went ice skating with 11 people yesterday, so there were 12 of us...Me, Alan, Guan Yuan, Esmond, Eugene, Hui Ying, Justin, Lee Kiang, Vick, Wei Liang, Yee Chien and last but not least, Ying Zhen.

Most of the things that happened can be found on Alan's blog...so I will insert things he did not mention. One significant one is that Alan was looking at a girl about 2 years younger than us. Alan say that he was attracted to her gracefulness...I would say he enjoy looking at young girls...

There were funny moments on the rink...what with Justin falling...I think more than 10 times, and Guan Yuan trying to balance himself(I have a video of this...get me to send or bluetooth you guys, since he doesn't want it posted;) )

'O' Levels Results Released

Well...I've gotten my "o" levels results...people say it's not bad...but I find it very disappointing, though I may still be able to stay on in MJC...I would say all my friends aced the 'O' levels...got lower points than me...so sad...

After seeing my disappointing results, I became rather sad...later on when the rest played basketball I also never join(actually cos I need to go somewhere...) Went to Wilson's house to play overnight at around 10.30pm...Yi Liang, Alan and Yin Yong also stayed overnight...

When I reached Wilson house, YL, Alan and Eugene was also there...Jian Hong joined a little while after 11pm...We watched some videos on youtube for a while before we went to bring YY to Wilson's house(he was flirting at McCafe earlier)JH and Eugene decided not to stay as they were tired and needed a good nite's sleep...

YY introduced us to a new board game that night(Zombies!!!) The objective of the game was simple...either you kill 25 zombies or reach the helipad to win...This game was very slow...in the end, we only played 2 rounds...and there was no winner...we actually thought Alan was the winner of the 1st game until when we were in the 2nd game, we realised that his win was unauthorised...lol...we drew the 2nd game as it was boring...

Shortly after this Alan and YY went to sleep while me and YL played LF2 for a while...

I think I was the first to wake up in the morning...although YY was the one who took the first picture of the morning...I won YL in Chinese Chess...he didn't seem to be playing properly...then me, YL and YY played LF2...again...we played till everyone was ready to leave...

I didn't get a chance to sleep when I got home in the morning...had to meet Esmond to go someone's house to cut hair together...it was way cheaper than cutting our hair elsewhere...then the 2 of us headed to Whitesands SC where we met Guan Yuan, who coincidentally, also cut his hair...We then headed to Queensway SC to walk around...YY and Wilson also joined us...I went home earlier, so I don't know what happened after I left...

One day to the release of 'O' level results...my feelings? Not sure...confused? Nervous? Don't care? I would say all...lol...

Well, me and Yin Yong saw Jian Hong take photos with the girl he like in school today...he didn't know till we told him earlier on MSN...lol...he thought he would never be found out...well, both me and yy took a photo of their "intimate" moments(sorry, Jian Hong...)Let's not talk about JH...approach him and ask if u want to know more...

Wilson wanted to meet us today...says he's sad and wanted us to make him happy...lol...so we went out and chatted at Tampines Mart Mcdonald's before going back to NAS...met Mr Alvin Tan and chatted with him...and then there was our sec 4 form teacher, Mrs Koh...she didn't even stop to talk to us...how sad...

We went to the pasar malam near NAS and me, YY and Wilson bought crystal casings for our handphones...met eugene for dinner at Tampines Mall... I went home shortly after dinner...no mood to walk around...have been spending too much money this few days...

Whoa...seems like it's been more than a week since I last post...reason is simple - laziness...

Nevermind that...The 1st thing to blog about is Saturday's CNY shopping with Yi Feng and Yin Yong. There was a road race on Sat morning...then agreed to meet YF at his house at around 2pm before going out together...YY also agreed to join even though he didn't go road race. At nearly 2pm... I called YF's house only to realise that he's sleeping, so I decided to meet YY at Pasir Ris MRT instead...1st we went to Bugis to buy a long-sleeve t-shirt that I wanted to buy...but before that, we had to climb the fence to get across the crammed traffic junction in order to save time...by doing so, we broke the law of jay walking...lol...we did this quite a few times...

Later in the day we realised that YF was awake and already on the way to Queensway S.C. so we decided to meet him there...he prefered independent shopping so we only met him during dinner time...I remember we shopped till quite late that day and spent a lot of money...

Now, for yesterday...not much, except that Da Zhong and his CG crawled out of TPJC fence during curriculum time just so to crash at MJC...I got photos as evidence of his presence...lol...
Also had CCA training yesterday...nearly died of fatigue...

Today...found out that MJC cancelled J1's Fri school...YAY! can sleep till late...finally! I think MJC is rather stressed...even some people of my CG went to study area to sleep during lunch time...Didn't manage to capture all on camera, only 2...Spent too much time studying...

'O' levels results are going to be released on this coming Fri...can't really say how I feel about it...think I'm afraid that I'm gonna get lousy results...let's keep my fingers crossed...

Have been too lazy to blog lately...mostly because the workload of being a JC student is simply too taxing. As a way to get away from the homework, I went shopping for clothes with Jian Hong, Yi Feng and Yin Yong on Saturday...

Me, JH and YY were supposed to have lunch together on Sat but JH overslept, so he decided against joining us for lunch. So YY and I went ahead to Bugis...we were walking around bugis...I remembered going to Kinokuniya before going for lunch at the foodcourt. YY snapped a photo of me eating disgustingly, so I also took a photo of him playing with sauce...lame right? Went with YY to kinokuniya again as he wanted to buy deathnote book 13. After that brought him to Sim Lim Square as he wanted to buy earpiece.

JH contacted me while we were at SLS to inform us that he had reached bugis...we went to meet up with him and went with him to buy a Zinc bag...his bag can be considered to be an opposite colour of mine...and he called the two of us the Yin Yang twins...lol...

After JH bought the bag we went to look around for clothes...I decided on a shirt...but in the end never buy...lol...Shortly after we went to Parco to meet YF.

I made a discovery at Parco 2nd level...I discovered that the railings there have static electricity... I got shocked a few times...the first few times I didn't realise it was static but thought it was just that my finger got problem...lol...I told YF and JH about my discovery too...but it seems that I was the only one that was affected more greatly...JH said it was because I had a higher opposing charge...

We even went to Specialist Centre and Centrepoint to shop for clothes...went to TM to have dinner...I had dinner with my parents that night...I was treating both of them as their birthday falls in the month of January...ate at Crystal Jade...100 over dollars...I went to meet JH, YF and YY after dinner, and Eugene was there also...walked around TM and CS, but no one bought anymore things...

Went home with my family that night after the others had left...That day was fun...I did not just make 1 discovery...I discovered that there is a huge "ceiling" fan in Bugis Street...

Seems like it's been a week since I last post...best word to describe the week - busy. For the past week, I have been spending everyday trying to complete the endless amount of tutorials and assignment. If not for my new CCA, I might have been able to take a breather a few days ago...

There was a Science Fiesta in my school today...I took part in the Meridian Murder Mystery, and it seems that my team were hardly able to solve any mystery...At the end of the Science Fiesta, my CG and a few teachers went to Starlabs to look at stars...well...not really stars but just some projections...quite impressive demonstration.

I mentioned earlier in this post about my new CCA...I'm in MJC's Lifesaving Team...sianz...I actually wanted ODAC...and on the first day of CCA, I'm the only J1 present...it seems that only a total of 2 people remained in this CCA...others all appealed out...I was already training for competition on my first day of CCA...the coach didn't even seem to know I am a J1...Might as well stay on in this CCA even after JAE...train hard and win medals...can break records even better...lol

Well...nothing much happened in school today...just lectures and tutorials, as usual...there was P.E. as well. Went to play basketball with friends at Tampines today...

On the way there, just outside the side gate of MJC, there was a P.E. teacher who was also waiting at the traffic light...Hoping to save time, JH decided to jay walk...I stopped him because I knew the P.E. teacher sure GL us one...sure enough...she called JH a naughty boy(It seems she already knows JH as she was the one who made him cut his hair)...I was thoroughly annoyed when she used the word"naughty boy"...she still treat JC students as if they were in primary school...WTH!

JH and I were supposed to meet the others at the court at 3pm, but we were late by about 10mins...However, we were still the firsts to reach the court...These guys are never punctual(sigh...)

We played quite a few games, so I can't possibly recall every match... But there are 2 matches that I still remember...One of them, we played against outsiders...the other is the match where I won WQ in a one-on-one match...

It's really simple why I remember the match we played against outsiders...first reason is that we were playing against rather strong opponents...second is because I scored the first point for my team...lol...Well, as for the point I scored, it was just that I was at the right place at the right time...

One-on-one...I won with a score of 10-8... It was supposed to be a 5-ball game...but as we had to win by at least 2 balls, our constant draw resulted in the extension...I won't say that I won because I had the skills, as WQ is definitely more skillful than me...as everyone said, it was just luck...

There were definitely breaks, so I made used of the time to snap photos...

JC life is beginning to become both tiring and boring. Went for ODAC trial yesterday...made to run 2.4km to test our fitness...didn't do too well for that...

For one period today, my CG were playing with balloons...my Civics Tutor said that those games were supposed to let us understand more about teamwork...in the end, the objective was not fulfilled...we were just fooling around and breaking the rules of the game...lol...

That's pretty much the most significant thing that happened today...lame right? I am beginning to feel that JC life sucks...especially due to the workload...MJC students are always studying...hard to find anyone slacking around...except for me...lol...

I was very busy for the previous 2 days, that's why I can only post today...

Last Friday, 12 Jan, I went back NAS...the place have changed a bit. For example, all graduating classes have air-conditioned classrooms... the canteen food sucks... There's even a new discipline master who wants students to address him as sir(who does he think he is?). Went out with my friends from NAS NPCC after that.

We went to bowl at Marina Square...nothing significant took place(I took lots of photos and videos...) Some of us even went to McDonald's at Tampines Interchange at night to talk( seems to me we were wating time there...)

Went outing with my OG and OGLs...This day was coincidentally my OGL Siti's birthday...Someone bought a cake and we sang her a birthday song at ECP(East Coast Park) McDonald's. I have a video of Siti on a children's ride just outside of ECP McDonald's...she was tricked into it...lol...

Some rented skates while others bikes for 2 hours...Half-way through all the fun, it rained...During the rain we played lame games in a shelter to while the time away.

Played pool at Parkway Centre after lunch...I totally suck...whoever partnered me lost most of the time...lol...I left early as I had to go visit my grandfather...so I don't know what happened after pool...

School has only just started but I am already feeling the stress of being a JC student...

I would say the J1s in MJC are rather nerd...I see that many keep studying before and after lectures, whenever they are free...That's why I am feeling pretty stressed up...It seems that I will be left behind if I don't be like them...

Having started JC education for almost a week, I asked myself a question which I had asked myself before: In what industry do I want to work as when I graduate...and before that, what to study in University...

Still cannot answer myself...guess I will just have to take one step at a time...sad...I got no ambition... :'(

Today is a day filled with choices...dilemmas...

First, there was the selection of CCAs...There were a wide range of CCAs to choose from...In the end, I decided to choose ODAC as my 1st choice and the Lifesaving Team, 2nd...Of course I would rather be in ODAC as I already know about Lifesaving...

I received a call from someone promoting Time magazine in the evening today...I had actually decided to buy Newsweek...but after listening to the person talk(I did not really pay much attention...sorry...), I'm not too sure that Newsweek is the best choice...Can anyone give me any advice on this? Time or Newsweek...Still haven't decide...

Choices is what we have to make everyday. Our future is determined by our choices...Have we been making the right choices up till now? Who knows...

The day started with 2 talks in the school hall...sianz...went for Math lecture after that. It was near the end of my recess that I saw Ngee Ann students who came here to crash...quite a lot of them. Wilson came and crash Chemistry lecture while Alan came only in the afternoon when there were no more lectures. Somemore Wilson come to MJC flirt with girls( I got photos as evidence) Just joking...He met his primary school friends...Took my height and weight today...finally 180cm tall...

Played basketball again today...Poor Yin Yong... Can't participate fully due to leg injuries...The games today were long but not tiring...mainly due to the wet floor...

First Day of Lessons

Today marks the start of a new point in my life...studying in a JC...Lectures are really very boring, and the teachers at MJC seem to have very high expectations of us students. Actually I don't remember really paying attention in class, but I remember trying to take photos without being detected by the teachers in order to post it here...

The first lecture I had was H2 Math...we started off with a quiz on algebra...then there was this guy...I think he's Mr Patrick...who talked to us about expectations and so on (I snapped a photo of him from under the table...lol)...

Then it came to H1 Economics...talked about expectations, what we would be studying and so on...I did not manage to take any photo but got one from my friend...

Choir auditions was next. Don't know why they make it compulsory for guys...especially when so many are not interested...wasted my time waiting for my turn to come...when it came to my turn...I practically gave the people inside crap. They played 2 notes, and I know one is definitely higher than the other...yet I told them it was the same...lol...I also purposely sang in monotone...this definitely got me blacklisted...lol...

Shooting Star

Today is a Sunday, yet I have to work...but I am glad that I went to work. Well, the main reason for what I said is that because at the end of a tiring but fun day, I saw a shooting star. It was a...how to put it...wonderful...miraculous...whatever...I just couldn't believe I saw a shooting star. Of course I made a wish...but don't think I should mention what I wished for...

Just received email containing photos of my orientation at MJC...shall place it in next post because of large file size and technical difficulties(btw...the camera sucks so that's why got red eyes)

Well, the school holidays are over...I'm now studying at MJC for the first few months and intend to stay on if my 'O' levels results permit so. First 3 days of school is just orientation.

I did not find day 1 of orientation fun at all...had to learn mass dance and play detective games...also had to learn a lot of things such as house cheers and people's names...I think the main objective of day 1 was to let us understand more about the school.

We were running about the east side of Singapore on the second day of orientation. That was the most tiring day, as we could not use public transport for most of the journey. As a result, there was a lot of running around...

There was a campfire on the last day of the orientation. In the morning, we played 'Wet & Wild', a game where we would definitely get very wet. The best part of the day was the campfire. There were performances from different houses. It was just too bad that I missed the part where Jian Hong did a solo dance performance at the start of his house's performance. The whole thing ended at around 9pm and I headed home after that for a refreshing sleep...

I hope I will be ready for the start of boring lectures by Monday...Going from lecture to lecture is just boring...

People present: Alan, Aaron, Da Zhong, Jian Hong, Kun Sheng, Wilson, Yi Feng, Yin Yong and of course...me!

We decided to meet that day for dinner cos it's christmas eve. Dinner was great, and after dinner we went to roam about CS. Our aimless roaming brought us to the top floor of CS.

It is here that someone started daring others to go into a neoprint shop...how lame can that be? Nine guys in a neoprint shop...but in the end we all went in. After playing around in the neoprint shop for a while, we left and found ourselves hanging around the lift lobby with a christmas tree.

When we thought we were finally headed towards Wilson's home for the night, we ended up at McDonald's as Jian Hong needed to get something from him. In the end, all but 2(Yin Yong & Yi Feng) were left waiting with Jian Hong while the rest headed to Wilson's home first.

At Wilson house, his mum kept bringing out food and drinks for us. We were playing games like little fighter and Counter Strike before we played the main game of the day - Bang! We had loads of fun playing that game together, and we only went to sleep in the wee hours of christmas.

Stuffs that happened before we slept was simply very amusing. Jian Hong kept disturbing Yin Yong, resulting in him not being able to sleep.

Kun Sheng left around 7.30am as he had to report for work at Wild Wild Wet at 9am.

Not sure what time it was, but the only two people awake in the house was me and Yi Feng (Others went back to sleep again). The two of us played games online. The game I remembered most clearly is a Miniclip game, Snow Line. The 2 of us found ourselves plotting hard in other to complete the game...it was just so fun.

I had intended to leave only when everyone was awake but it seemed impossible for me...I had to work at Wild Wild Wet at 12pm...so I left early.

Around one more week and the school holidays are going to end(so sad...). Seems like there ain't much time left for me to work in order to earn more pocket money(sianz...).

Anyway I am about to start my JC years at MJC. I have yet to decide on the subject combinations and CCA I want to join... Have to choose properly as it can affect my future... I hate making important decisions...

Tmr may be dining with friends...christmas eve...have yet to confirm, still waaiting for reply...

Changes

Everybody change. It can be due to external pressures/influences or due to self-enlightenment*. The change can be a physical or mental change. As for me, I feel that I have changed throughout my secondary school years, both physically and mentally.
I started my secondary school years as a bespectacled, nerdy-looking boy. By the end of the first year, I had already replaced the spectacles with contact lenses. As to whether I changed mentally, it is for me to know and for you to find out.
One important change is the acquisition of knowledge and skills. From someone who only knows the basics of swimming to an adept swimmer, even a lifesaver...a rather impressive change, wouldn't you say? I would credit this change to external influences(friends & CCA).

Changes: For oneself to know, for others to find out!
